Greetings, Ravens. And welcome to the focus of your own personal hell for the next 7 years--Mórrígan Coven Tower.
The Ground Floor:
The focal point of relaxation in our tower, Ravens are welcome to use the commons are they see fit, as long as they clean up after themselves and nothing is destroyed. Unlike some other covens, access to the tower is for Mórrígan only: access for other coven members is not allowed--unless you happen to catch me in a good mood.
Second Floor Commons:
And when you need to get away from the excess of the first floor, there are the individual commons on the second. Contrary to what many believe, the Second Floor Commons are not for snogging, though you can imagine many a first kiss has been shared here! But then again, we are Mórrígan, and we are always first in everything.
Third Floor Dorms--1st and 2nd Years; 5th Year Prefect's Rooms:
The third floor is the launching pad for the 1st and 2nd Year students into the world of magic. Enchantments are used to keep prying eyes and bodies out of places they aren't meant, but for those who wonder what's going on across the tower--see me, I can help you. 5th Year prefects also have rooms here, and are the final "line of defense" in making sure our cuddly 1st Years are safely tucked away in their beds at night and not wandering about the campus looking for trouble. If you really need trouble, come see me.
Fourth and Fifth Floor Dorms--3rd and 4th Years (Fourth Floor); 5th and 6th Years (Fifth Floor); 6th Year (Fourth Floor) and 7th Year (Fifth Floor) Prefect's Rooms:
And we go up . . . to where our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Years are roomed. You have more "personal time" here and, being with the same people for almost half a decade, have developed either a great sense of camaraderie, or you're one step away from seeing if the Killing Curse you learned in Dark Arts really works. If you feel the urge of the later pulling at you, see me.
Yes, it is true that when you become a 5th Year it is possible to receive "room service" from the kitchen. Don't abuse this: they are elves, not Muggle pizza delivery wonks. And if you do abuse this service, don't be surprise if you find a little "something extra" in your order.
Sixth Floor Dorms--7st Years:
And we reached the Sixth Floor, the home of our 7th Years, the bright and eager minds ready to take the wizarding world by storm. This is where most of the nervous breakdowns occurs as well, which is why our oh-so-lovely Nurse Coraline becomes such a busy girl around N.E.W.T. time. The floor is restricted to 7th Years, the Coven Prefects, any myself only, and anyone else needing access had best have a bloody good reason to be there.
Seventh Floor--Attic:
Our Attic is a very private place, and while 3rd Years and Up may use it, it is truly ruled over by our graduating class of 7th Years. Whatever they may be up to there, please respect their wishes to be alone, and remember: one of these days you are going to be the one in need of "privacy". Unless you are a full-on wank who has one foot permanently positioned outside the main gate, and then all best are off.
