Not Your Parents Snow White

You might not know it, but Kristen Stewart--AKA, the Lego Block--is going to play the titular character in a new version of Snow White. And with San Diego Comic Con over, there were photos of the characters in costume released for publication--


Somehow, looking at Stewart, you have to imagine the director sat down with his production staff and the first thing out of his mouth was, "Okay, fuck Disney!"



And here is Snow White in all her glory:




Or as someone on "The Mary Sue" said, "This is a D&D character I played."

That'll be an interesting movie. The original tale of Snow White is really about a murderous rivalry, adolescent sexual ripening--yes, sex people, poisoned gifts, blood on snow, witchcraft....and ritual cannibalism.

If the movie goes there, I'll watch!

And here's an extra kicker: there's another Snow White movie being done at the same time. So you're going to have dueling fairy tales out.
