"Just trust me on that." The blonde boy gave a reassuring smile to his young sister, "if you follow what I had just said, you'll do fine."

Raven looked over her shoulder to see her brothers giving her the thumbs up. With them there, she felt reassured that everything will be alright. Standing among the other first years, most of which were shorter than her, she waited until her name was called. Each and every kid that walked into the flamed circle, exited it in either tears, pain, or some sort of shock. Is it really that bad? she thought to herself.
Eventually her name was called and she walked up to the circle. Raven wasn't nervous nor was she scared, but nonchalant about her sorting. She made it to the circle, where many before her had stood, and she looked out into the mass of students. The last thing she saw before the flames rose were her brothers.
