After the Sorting comes your real welcome to the Salem Witches' Institute, and that welcome is found at the Cernunnos Coven Tower.

    The Ground Floor:

Like the other towers the first steps into your new home start with the ground floor commons. All who pass through our doors pass through this living room, and while there are many place where one can sit and think or enjoy the company of others, this room is the focal point of all those endeavors. We allow members of other covens to enter our tower, though they are restricted to this floor and the second floor commons.

    Second Floor Commons:

The second floor commons were original designed as a "safe harbor" when the genders needed a bit of time away from each other, but today, while still labeled as separate, the Boy's and Girl's Commons are truly as integrated as the rest of the Institute. One will also find rooms for private meetings. And the open space beyond the railing is charmed to prevent falls and various objects being dropped upon those below.

Third Floor Dorms--1st and 2nd Years; 5th Year Prefect's Rooms:

Now begins the adventure. 1st and 2nd Year students are housed on this floor, along with the 5th Year Prefects. The area is quaint and quiet, and the nearness to the commons is designed to ease the students into living away from home for the first time in their lives. All attempts are made to ease students into their life here, including giving every student their own individual shower cabinet.

Fourth and Fifth Floor Dorms--3rd and 4th Years (Fourth Floor); 5th and 6th Years (Fifth Floor); 6th Year (Fourth Floor) and 7th Year (Fifth Floor) Prefect's Rooms:

The Fourth and Fifth Floors are nearly identical except for how each room is individually decorated. One will discover that while these floors are further from the commons, they are often brightly decorated and lit, so there is no overwhelming feeling of isolation from the rest of the students.

    Sixth Floor Dorms--7st Years:

We come to the Sixth Floor, the center of the world of our 7th Years. This area is restricted to the 7th Years only, though visitation by other students is not forbidden--only difficult.

Though it may seem as if the school goes out of its way to make life "easy" for the 7th Years, considering all they face it is easy to see why are they treated in such a fashion. And should you make it to your 7th Year (and some do not), will you understand as well.

    Seventh Floor--Attic:

Lastly we have the Attic, and the mystery that surrounds it. We know the 7th Years can come and go to the Attic as they please, and that other classes can request "time" there, but what goes on? All one needs to know is that it's there, and it can be used for anything. What will you use it for?
